		Controlled Automation 2AT-175 Plate Punching Machines The 2AT-175 Plate Punch is a powerful plate punching machine. Its large table, powerful grippers, and high punch capacity allow it to handle your largest plate needs. The 2AT-175 is capable of punching 1-1/2" (38mm) holes through 1-1/2" (38mm) mild steel. This machine is now supplied with SICAM software.




		Controlled Automation ABL-100HS Angle and Flat Bar Processing Lines The ABL-100HS is the fastest and most powerful angle and flat bar punching and shearing machine on the market. It can be supplied with several different shear options to accommodate practically every application. The most popular choice on this machine is to supply it with a BAS single cut shear. This shear has 425 tons of shearing capacity and is capable of shearing 8" x 8" x 3/4" (203mm x 203mm x 19mm) angle and 12" x 1" (305mm x 25.5mm) flat bar with no material loss. Like all our angle lines, we can supply a full range of material handling systems.




		Controlled Automation ABL-74T Angle and Flat Bar Processing Lines The ABL-74T is our most economical machine with a combination of features requested by our customers. These features include: wheel material feed, wheel measuring, single cut shear, and material weld/tack station to eliminate material drop.




		Controlled Automation ABL-86T Angle and Flat Bar Processing Lines The ABL-86T is an extremely fast punching and shearing machine for processing angle and flat bar. It has a top positioning speed of 375ft (114m) per minute. It can be supplied with three different measuring options of your choice depending on your routine part production. This machine is capable of punching and shearing 6" x 6" x 5/8" (152mm x 152mm x 16mm (angle and 6" x 5/8" (152mm x 16mm ) flat bar.




		Controlled Automation Air-Lift Buggies (2) The Air-Lift Buggy is a simple, yet rugged design built for constant use. Internal air bags are used to raise the material, while the transferring is chain driven. The Air-Lift Buggy system is for heavy loads and is sold with our drill line in most cases. Each conveyor line has a buggy that will lift using air bags and move each piece of material over the roller conveyor before lowering it onto the roller conveyor. This transfer is also used when moving material over a center roller conveyor to a third roller conveyor.




		Controlled Automation BFC-530 Beam Punching Lines Beam punch lines are a significant part of our business. It is important to remember the economics of punching verses drilling. Punching a hole can be up to 4 times faster than drilling, and at a fraction of the tooling cost. Punching also offers the ability to have shaped holes, such as slots. Our 115 ton punches have the strength to handle most of the fabricator's needs.




		Controlled Automation BSP-2000 Beam to Tee Splitters The BSP-2000 splits beams and channels by riding along their flanges without the use of a guide track. This beamsplitter operates from 120VAC, with user controlled variable speed for the use of both gas and plasma torches (not included). Constructed mostly of aluminum, the BSP-2000 is lightweight allowing the operator easy transport throughout the work area. This beam splitter is designed for quality cuts while remaining fast and easy to operate.




		Controlled Automation BTD-8X Plate Drilling and Cutting Machines The BTD-8X is a combined drill and plasma plate processing machine. Each machine is supplied in 8' (2.5m) working width and the length can be anything up to 124' (38m). Drilling operations are performed using a 10 hp spindle with our own proven drilling technology. A high definition plasma torch cuts material up to 2-1/2" (63.5mm) thick and a standard automated oxy-fuel torch cuts material up to 4" (101mm). An ArcWriter marking system or impact stylus is also available for more defined part marking.




		Controlled Automation Detail Line Bar Punching and Shearing Lines This Detail Line is designed for fast, accurate and reliable production of punched and sheared flat detailed parts. The dual punch arrangement combined with a low distortion shear increase production and reduce manual part prep work.




		Controlled Automation DRL-344 Beam Drilling Lines The DRL-344 is the flagship of high speed production drilling. Strength and speed come together in the DRL-344 to deliver unmatched productivity. Equipped with three heavy duty 20 hp spindles, this machine uses high performance spade and carbide tipped drills to good advantage, boosting your tons per hour. There is no waiting. Independent movement of the spindles in all axes allows each spindle to immediately move to its next hole without waiting for the other spindles to finish.




		Controlled Automation DRL-348MT Beam Drilling Lines The DRL-348MT is a mid-size high production drill. It is constructed of a rigid plate steel box frame giving it the strength to handle the heaviest of beams. It comes standard with 20 hp variable speed spindles (15 hp optional). Each spindle has our servo ball screw feed technology including Soft Touch Material Sensing, Bit Breakthrough Technology, Over Thrust Protection and Partial Hole Feed Correction.




		Controlled Automation DRL-348TC Beam Drilling Lines The DRL-348TC is our most versatile drill system with a 5-station automated tool changer on each of the 3 spindles. It is constructed of a rigid plate steel box frame giving it the strength to handle the heaviest of beams. It comes standard with 20 hp variable speed spindles (25 hp optional). Each spindle has our servo ball screw feed technology including Soft Touch Material Sensing, Bit Breakthrough Technology, Over Thrust Protection and Partial Hole Feed Correction.




		Controlled Automation GPD-144 Plate Drilling Machines The Gantry Plate Drill gives fabricators high performance drilling in the largest work envelope with widths up to 144 inches (3.6m). The GPD-144 has the rigidity and precision normally found only in high-end machining centers. Complemented with a powerful ram style head-stock and coolant through the spindle, this drill achieves high metal removal rates for maximum productivity. The user friendly PC based control system is packed with features to help make quick work of even the largest drilling jobs.




		Controlled Automation GPF-10X Plate Drilling and Cutting Machines The GPF-10X is our latest plate production machine to process 10' (3m) wide material. This machine is capable of drilling holes up to 2-1/4" (57mm) diameter and cutting steel plate up to 6" (152mm) thickness. The system includes a 20 hp CAT 40 drill spindle with optional automatic 10-position tool changer, 400 amp plasma system with auto-gas control, oxy-fuel torch station with auto-gas control, and our own advanced SICAM plate nesting software.




		Controlled Automation Machine Remanufacturing and Retrofitting We also offer the more economical option of a remanufactured machine. We can rebuild your existing machine, or you can send it in as a trade-in. This will greatly shorten your in-shop down time. All re-manufactured machines come standard with a new machine warranty. Warranty on in-the-field retrofitted machines covers only parts provided by Controlled Automation. Our remanufacturing service facility provides the most current mechanical additions required to automate old or existing machines. All of our remanufactured machines now come standard with the latest version of SICAM software. 		Controlled Automation MultiMAX Plate Cutting Machines The MultiMAX is a shape cutting machine that can be equipped with a varying number of plasma and/or oxy-fuel torches, each available with auto-gas control. An arc-writer marking system is also available for more defined part marking. The plasma system of choice may be high definition or conventional, and can operate from manual gas or auto gas control. This machine is usually supplied to process material 6' (1.8m) and wider, although smaller machines are also available. Cutting surface options for this machine include water tables, down draft tables, shuttle tables, or conveyorized tables. Controlled Automation can supply any of these options, or provide the fabrication drawings for the buyer to manufacture their own.




		Controlled Automation PGD-814V Portable Gantry-Style Girder Drills The PGD-814V is a portable gantry style drilling machine, designed to provide fast and accurate multi-ply drilling of structural girders without the use of pre-drilled templates. This machine is offered in a vertical spindle drilling model or a horizontal spindle drilling model. The PGD-814V can be mounted to optional leg and wheel assemblies making it easy to reposition along any length after each drilling operation is completed. This machine has a 20hp spindle motor and #4 morse taper to provide fast drilling whether using carbide, spade or twist bit tooling.




		Controlled Automation PlasMAX Plate Cutting Machines The PlasMAX is supplied in 6' (1.8m) or 8' (2.5m) wide capacity and usually with one auto-gas high definition plasma. The table travel length can be manufactured up to 30' (9.2m). This machine incorporates dual side drives. The machine and cutting surface are unitized allowing for easier installation making the PlasMAX ideal for the manufacturing industry. An oxy-fuel torch system and arc-writer marker are also available.




		Controlled Automation ProMAX Plate Cutting Machines The ProMAX is our entry level single side drive machine. Normally it is supplied in 6' (1.8m) or 8' (2.5m) widths with 10' (3m) or 12' (3.6m) cutting lengths. Like all Controlled Automation machines, it runs on our own control using the advanced SICAM Nesting software on the Windows operating system. A manual oxy-fuel torch system is also available for this model.




		Controlled Automation REVOLUTION Thermal Processing Lines Controlled Automation is proud to introduce the Revolution coper. This robotic coping system is provided with multiple tools to provide the maximum flexibility. The machine comes standard with both a high definition plasma torch with auto gas control, and an oxy-fuel torch. The automated tool changer (standard) selects which tool to use based on the thickness of material and design of the cope. A high speed ink jet marking system is also available when scribing and thermal marking is not allowed.
